Pepper is a five year old full-bred Rottweiler. We have had since she was a puppy. She lives in a house with three children (17, 13 and 8) and another dog (which we have had the entire time she has been with us). They got along well. Pepper is a super loving dog but also very dominant and anxious. She began experiencing severe anxiety several years ago, which turned aggressive in the last year. She is very dominant and likes to exert her will. We have tried so many things to try to help her including multiple medications and board and trains. She is a sweet, loving animal, though easily triggered by other animals (dominant in nature) and children. For safety of our family, and for Pepper's stress level, we are sadly seeking other living arrangements for her. We have talked significantly to our wonderful trainer (Kelsey Wilkins, through the Dog Wizard) who Pepper has spent 5 weeks with for training, as well as multiple days/weeks long trainings with to help her. Kelsey agrees that Pepper would be much happier in a child free, single animal household. Ideally, there would be a big yard to play in. We like to jokingly say she thinks she's the size of her head and is a lap dog. But she's far from it :) She likes to cuddle and get pets. But other dogs and sometimes kids can set her off.
