Meet Daisy: The Most Loyal, Playful Cattle Dog Mix Looking for Her Forever Home Daisy is an incredible 3-year-old spayed Cattle Dog mix who has become my best friend, and it is my sincere wish that she finds a home where she can live the full, happy life she deserves. As a Cattle Dog mix, she is highly energetic, intelligent, and devoted. She currently lives in Boston and needs a big yard with room to run and plenty of exercise throughout the day. Daisy is a fantastic companion who has the energy, intelligence, and heart to make a wonderful addition to the right home. She's turning 3 years old this April, and her playful spirit and love for adventure are stronger than ever. One of Daisy's greatest joys is playing with other dogs-she absolutely loves socializing and would thrive in a home where she can play and run with other canine companions. If you have a yard, she'll be in heaven! In addition to outdoor play, her favorite toy in the world is her adorable lamb chop plush-nothing makes her more excited than a game of toss with this cuddly toy. When it comes to walks, Daisy is your perfect partner. She loves getting outside with her favorite person, and a nice long walk is one of her favorite things to do. While she's an energetic dog who needs her exercise, she's also an ultimate 'Velcro dog' who is always ready for a huge group hub. She's always close by, offering unwavering companionship and affection. Daisy is a highly intelligent dog who has made impressive progress with obedience and tricks through consistent training. Her eagerness to learn and please her humans is truly remarkable, and she has mastered many commands with ease. However, like any dog, she can benefit from continued training, particularly around resource guarding, which she sometimes struggles with. Removing food and toys helps ease Daisy's anxiety over losing her possessions. Significant progress has been made, but further training will help her grow even more in this area. While Daisy is a loving and devoted dog, she does have a few needs that should be considered. She isn't the best fit for homes with young children, as her herding instincts can sometimes lead her to nip or chase. She also has mixed feelings about cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. An active lifestyle is a must. Daisy can be a bit nervous around new people and environments, but with patience, understanding, and a handful of treats, she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds with her humans. Once she trusts you, she will be your most devoted companion, always by your side, offering love and loyalty. I love Daisy more than anything, butI live in a small apartment in Boston and work in office 9-5. Unfortunately, I've come to realize that I am unable to meet all of her needs for exercise, companionship, and stimulation in this environment. Daisy is an active dog who needs room to run, play, and explore, and I want her to have the opportunity to live in a space where she can thrive physically and mentally. Having someone home with Daisy during the day would be helpful. This decision has not come lightly. Daisy has been my best friend and constant companion, and the thought of rehoming her is incredibly difficult. But I know that her needs must come first. She has so much love to give, and she deserves a home where she can be the happy, active, and loved dog she's meant to be.
