About River- Urgent!

RIVER, #A2134516, is at a high kill shelter in Los Angeles, California. The shelter is in severe overcrowding conditions and are euthanizing young, healthy dogs at an alarming rate!!! Please save her before it's too late!!! 2 years old, 77 lbs, female, RIVER, has been waiting for 8 months to find her forever home! River went on her first offsite walk. What a majestic presence she has! Her fur is a really pretty chocolate and she is sleek and muscular. She is strong but seemed to make frequent eye contact checking in with her handler. River sat gracefully upon command for treats and was grateful to be out of her kennel for the first time in 3 days. She loves to play fetch and will return the ball and sit and await another round for as long as the ball thrower is willing to play with her. She gets along with other dogs in the playgroups. She can sometimes get a little rowdy due to her young aged energy but does well with corrections.
