Elsie May Breed - Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees Mix Age - 3.5 yrs Location - Michigan (in the mitten thumb) Good with: Kids, goats, poultry, ducks, turkeys, emus, and cows. Meet another puppy once and did fine, not overly interested, but has not been tested with adult dogs. Shows no aggression toward smaller livestock and lives peacefully among them. Has been known to eat the occasional wild pigeon but is otherwise excellent with farm animals. Not good with: Horses Does not view horses as part of her flock, and will chase them away when feed is put out for her flock. Has been kicked (warning kick), but did not learn. If horses are kept in a separate area, she will ignore them. Barking: True to her guardian nature, she barks to alert, including at neighbors when they are outside. Will need to be in a rural setting where barking is not a concern. Needs: A farm without Horses (or separately contained horses) where she can be a working LGD. Elise May is a devoted guardian who thrives on protecting her herd and being part of a working farm. Her sweet temperament and dedication to her job make her an excellent fit for a family farm. Why She's Looking for a New Home: Her current owner loves her dearly but is concerned for her safety due to the horses. They want her to go to a home where she can continue doing what she loves without risk of being kicked. Please text for more information.
