About

Kona is a half Great Pyrenees half Golden Retriever mix. He is terrific with children (comes from a house with 5 young kids) and people and loves being pet on his fluffy coat. He lives sometimes inside (sleeps inside at night) but is equally content being outside all day. He has lived well with another dog in the home, yet untested with other animals. He is highly protective of his family/pack and does not do well with unknown dogs (no off-leash dog parks). If you are looking for a terrific family pet that can be a protector in your large fenced yard he would be wonderful. His joy is playing, chasing a ball, and being chased by kids. (His temperament around farm animals is unknown, although he may do well in that sort of setting.)
