Salinger is around 12 years old. He is a 100% purebred Ocicat. He was an excellent pet until my husband left us. Since then, he has remained continent with urine, but he tends to poop just outside his litter box. This problem worsened when I added a third cat to the home. He picks on my 2 female cats and I'm feeling that he needs to be in a home by himself. He needs to eat special food as the vet suspects him of having some kind of bowel inflammation. He is affectionate and beautiful to look at, but something needs to give at our house. We are both getting up there in years and intend to live in Europe for a few years. We cannot take care of him but feel that if he got the attention and love he deserves in a one cat household, he may thrive again.
