About Zara

My name is Zara. I am a sweet and playful 2-year old Labrador Retriever-mix. I love receiving attention, running in the yard, and playing with my favorite toy ball. I enjoy wrestling and playing with my 10-year old foster brother, though sometimes I forget he's a little older! I am a cuddler who would love to snuggle with you on the couch or in bed, but I am also comfortable sleeping in my crate. I can be a bit shy around new people, and I tend to feel anxious when both of my foster parents leave the house. I am currently on medication to help manage my separation anxiety, which has been helpful. I take treats gently and know basic commands like 'sit' and 'down.' I'm a goofy girl who loves to entertain with my tail-chasing, prancing, and playful antics. I think I would thrive in a family that has older children or another dog. I would love to join a family that has a bigger yard or access to a place where I can run and play. I am a lovable, fun-loving companion who just needs a little patience and a loving home to truly shine.
