About River

River is looking for a new adventure! He is a young intact male about 40-45lbs. We are still working on cat and dog introductions, so far we think he could do well in a home with either. Meet & Greet required. River is likely 1-2 years old with a very sweet and a very smushable face! River likes to play with toys, is moderately active, will nap like a champ and has a propeller tail! River's tail never stops wagging around and around!!!!! River is learning many basic commands and has mastered 'sit' so far and working on down, paw, wait and stay. CT residents are eligible for the Animal Population Control Voucher (APCP) to help offset the cost of neuter and vaccines. River is currently on a special diet for skin allergies as well as twice weekly bathing. It is unknown if he will need to continue on medication, special diet and bathing after adoption
