His name is 'REX '. Background: Has been with the same Shepherd parent since 8 weeks old UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. UNKNOWN with kids. Has met a kid here and there and did fine but really is not around them very much at all to know for sure. Good with CALM dogs, does not like being jumped up on. NOT good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. SEASONAL ALLERGIES (not on meds but Vet recommended over the counter Benadryl tabs if eyes get too red). VERY HIGH ENERGY . HIGH PREY DRIVE . Currently on Puppy Food Sports Mix food (Vet recommended bc Rex is picky and wasn't gaining weight). Weighs 77 lbs. OK with car rides, but will pace from Anxiety. Loves: Chew bones - freeze-dried beef livers - Outside Time - playing ball - drinking water - getting Lovins - sitting outside with his person on a nice day - going on walks (because of his High Prey Drive, he will pull if he sees small animals). Personality: Loving. Anxious. Rex will makes such a great companion for the right person. He has never shown aggression to any one. He is loving and loyal but anxious. Like most GSDs, he thinks he's a lap dog lol. He loves being with his people. He needs to be distracted or he will run in circles in the house. He has been boarded before and did great and everyone loved him. He has also been through training. He is very intelligent and knows Basic Commands. The Current Shepherd Parent needs to re home Rex because there have been some changes and they are no longer able to keep Rex. She has also had a job change and Rex would be in his crate most of the time and that is not fair and not a good quality of life. Rex needs and deserves a better life. Rex will thrive best with someone loving, preferably home a lot, who is able to help ease his Anxieties.
