About Bambi

BAMBI is a 12-year-old, 12.2 pound Chihuahua surrendered to us after the death of her owner. She is so sweet and we know she misses her mama. We are hoping to find her home where she can feel safe and comfortable and loved. It took BAMBI a bit to relax in her foster home and just this last week she started asking to be loved on. She is a bit nervous with new people at first but once she warms up she will sit with her person, as long as it is her idea! She gives the sweetest little butterfly kisses. BAMBI has some age-related hearing loss and limited vision but navigates her home quite well. She does not walk well on a leash and we are requiring a home with a fenced yard to keep her safe. She is mostly housebroken but does have accidents if not taken out often. She will begin pacing when she needs to go out. At night BAMBI sleeps in a cozy dog bed in the bedroom. BAMBI has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. She has some age-related arthritis. MORE about BAMBI: She is a senior dog looking for a quiet home, no kids, no bigger young dogs that will disturb her frequent naps. She tends to ignore other dogs for the most part. Although she was in a home with another senior dog, she would be perfectly fine as an only.
