I found Tina with no collar, but a leash tied around her neck on the side of a public road. She was in heat at that time, so I assume her previous owner tied her up outdoors so she wouldn't 'spot' on the carpet. *She has not yet been fixed!* I took her home where she immediately fit right in with my 5 dogs and 2 cats. Unfortunately, we can't afford to take in another pet. She is incredibly playful with people and pets, but knows when to peacefully stop-play when other pets are tired. She hasn't shown the first bit of aggression towards adults/kids, dogs, or cats. She has not been introduced to other animals. She's highly food motivated, so we have to feed her in 1/3 increments over 10 minutes so she doesn't vomit from eating too quickly. She only barks for a few seconds when she hears knocking/doorbell, then she's excited to see whoever walks into the house. We've taught her not to jump or beg for human food (I suspect she was fed human food previously). We love her so much, but she needs a family with time to properly exercise her and get her shots. We absolutely hate to see her go, but we know she's going to make the right family whole :)
