About Zhu-Zhu

Zhu-Zhu was rescued from a backyard breeder/animal hoarding situation in which the owners were incapable of keeping their animals contained and there were obvious signs of neglect. At approx 6 mo, she had no name to respond to, knew no commands, not leash trained or house trained. I've worked with her on leash training, house training, and she is proving to be intelligent and well behaved. She is initially timid around new animals, people, and environments, but warms up quickly and will be a wonderful addition to any family. She came into my possession on 12/19/24 after catching the owners dogs running loose and the owner offered me a puppy immediately. She was scared, filthy, and flea infested. Not much is known about her history, except that she is around 6-7 months old and was spayed. I immediately took her to my vet clinic to have her examined, she received her first round of puppy shots, heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative, plus deworming. She is a cuddler! She will melt into your hands. It seems she may have only ever known the pack mentality and was deprived on human interaction. She craves it now. There are others from the board I am trying to assist with refining as well.
