Rosie needs to be rehomed due to my sister's worsening disability. She has spent quite a large amount of time in a cage over the last few years due to my sister's worsening health, which is why I listed Neglect as a health condition. Rosie is a very sweet dog, but will likely need quite a bit of training, as no real effort to train her was made. She has lived in a home with smaller dogs with no issue. She is currently being housed at my parents' farm, and does not appear to have issues toward large dogs, but she does seem to be more pack focused/prey driven toward farm animals when around other large dogs. She has lived with two cats in the home, and has largely ignored them as well, but has chased a cat once since being at the farm. She has tried to sniff my parents' cat, but got scared and ran out of the room after the cat hissed and smacked her in the face. My parents are unwilling to keep Rosie long term, as she has displayed aggressive behavior toward the sheep on their farm. She has latched onto a couple of sheep, and ripped hair out of their backs. For this reason, I HIGHLY caution against adopting this dog if she would have access to farm animals. Rosie has lived in a home with an adult male, adult female, infant boy (now 7), and a young girl (now 12). She has not displayed aggression towards children or adults. She does not appear to care too much about strangers either. Rosie does have a history of escaping from the yard, and then running around to the front door to surprise people (I'm convinced she thinks it's funny). She also likes to go for car rides. My sister relayed that Rosie was CKC registered, but she's unable to find the paperwork at this time.
