About Ludo

Ludo is 12 years old. I adopted him when he was 4 from the Portland animal shelter. He's good with kids and people and dogs and cats. He is super chill, just sleeps most of the time. He's not officially deaf but I think in his old age he's losing his hearing. He has allergies and licks his paws a lot. The reason I'm looking to rehome him is because he has developed some confusion the past year. He barks at night to be let outside but then just stands there not doing anything. We have moved houses and he used to sleep in my room but he is unable to get up the stairs anymore, so he sleeps with my other dog downstairs. I don't think he likes this and it's a part of why he barks. It could also be sundowners. He still uses the bathroom outside and let's you know when he has to go. I just had a baby and his behavior is getting worse and we just can't do it anymore. He barks 3-5 times a night and we have to go down to check on him. That coupled with a new baby and we are struggling bad. He needs a home where he can be around people while he sleeps. He also has dental issues. Very bad breath but the vet doesn't think it's wise to put him under anesthesia for a teeth cleaning giving his age. Any questions please feel free to ask!!
