(WAS CANDY) Hi I am a 2 year old 54lb spayed female Black/Brown German Shepherd mix Foster Needed by 1/2 after being returned for 'being evicted' Poor Vegas (was Candy) was adopted in November & kept for a few weeks. Networkers attempted to assist the 'owner' in rehoming as she said she was going to be evicted if she didn't get rid of her. Oh how I wish the shelter was capable of vetting potential adopters better. Adopter says she is not destructive, potty trained, can be more dominant. Lived with other dogs and a cat and ignored most. She also showed some signs of being protective of the adopter when meeting new people or with the other animals. Now she's back on a deadline and needs a foster or she will die. Please stop adopting animals when you are not allowed to have them where you live. Please stop adopting animals if you don't have a stable home. To say you're being evicted... doesn't just happen over night - there are things that lead up to it. Being evicted isn't a surprise. Only the pets suffer.
