About Ferdinand

This is Ferdinand. This handsome little guy is part Cattle Dog. He was born at the start of October, 2024, and should be within breed standard size when grown. This smart dude has already learned a lot: Sit, down, wait (at doors),off (people or the furniture), come, easy (when accepting treats). He is starting to learn a few tricks, too: Beginning sit pretty and shake, drink when a treat is involved. Ferdinand and is crate trained and almost done with potty training. He is just a pup, so his new home will just need to reinforce the routine. Ferdinand is a social guy and hasn't met a human he doesn't love. He is confident and likes to make friends. He would likely even be good in a home with polite kids. Ferdinand is good with dogs and wants to play with everyone. When an adult dog asks him to back off/play is done, he respects the correction (and 'talks' about it a bit). He has also met a few dog savvy cats at a friend's house and seemed fine. Ferdinand is starting to fetch. He loves balls. Click on the red YouTube button to watch him fetch. Ferdinand is also 'puppy good' on leash. He has a good start and will be excellent with continued practice. He is also good in the car and will make a good travel companion. Ferdinand is a lap dog when invited onto the couch. He does talk a bit and cock his head in the cutest way. This little guy is ready for a home that likes to train pups , and he will be a total gem for that lucky person. Ferdinand is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He is located in Southern CA and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. We do not ship out dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
