About Roxy

Roxy, born 10/1/23, 13lb female chihuahua/pomeranian mix who came to us as an owner surrender. In her previous home, she had lived with an elderly gentleman who couldn't properly care for her due to his health issues. In that home, Roxie learned to be trained on pee pads, so we will work with her to begin transitioning to outside. However, she may require a home who appreciates her pee pad training as well. Upon intake, Roxie was found to be Lyme disease positive. She is being treated and she is not expected to have any long term issues. Roxie is a bit nervous at first due to lack of previous socialization, but she comes around with time and trust. She does seem to enjoy the company of other dogs her size and we believe she would also do well with cats. Due to her lack of socialization, we would prefer children who are a bit older so she doesn't feel overwhelmed. Roxie's adoption fee is $400.00 which includes her spay, vaccines including DHLPPC vaccines, Lyme vaccines Kennel Cough vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Heartworm and lyme testing and Microchip with lifetime registration.
