About Duke

Duke was found on October 9, 2024 in the woods, scared and emaciated. He weighed in at 28 lbs when found. He is estimated to be around a year old and has been fully vaccinated and currently weighs 60lbs. He is not yet neutered. Duke is full of energy and wants to run and play. I would love to keep him and teach him but I have two other dogs, one with cancer and he is too much for them. I desperately need to find Duke a loving home. He is not potty trained and currently is in an outside kennel. I have not been able to work with him on his manners so he needs training. He likes to bite and nip with excitement and does not know his own strength. Duke needs an owner who can spend time with him and teach him. He is extremely smart and just needs the right training. He is very loyal. He does bark at strangers but warms up fairly easy. I have listed Duke as a Catahoula mix, however it is possible he is purebred. Unsure though.
