About Winter

Meet Winter - A Sweet, Trained Companion Looking for a Loving Home Winter is an 80-pound bundle of love and energy, with a sweet and cuddly demeanor that melts hearts. She thrives on affection and is happiest when she's snuggled up next to her favorite humans. Winter has undergone professional training with GIFMAF in Wesley Chapel and is e-collar trained. She's highly intelligent and knows an impressive list of commands, including sit, stay, down, off, orbit, center, crate, wait, paw, place, back up, sit pretty, up, and kisses. She's food-motivated and eager to please, which makes her a quick learner. She's also a fantastic cuddler and enjoys being brushed. However, Winter has a high prey drive and will chase after cats and small wildlife like squirrels, armadillos, and opossums, so she would do best in a home without smaller animals. While Winter obeys well most of the time, she does have some challenges that require an experienced and patient owner. She becomes aggressive during personal care, such as nail trimming or vet visits, and has shown aggression toward other dogs and occasional protective behavior around her humans. We dearly love Winter but are seeking a new home for her where she can thrive as the sole pet and receive the structure, understanding, and attention she deserves. If you're experienced with dogs and can provide Winter with a loving, dedicated home, she will repay you with loyalty, affection, and endless cuddles. Winter would do best in a household without small children or other pets.
