Buddy is a SWEET boy who was a stray we've been fostering in hopes of finding him a forever home. We LOVE him and would keep him, but he's not getting along with one of our senior rescues. We think it is a male thing - he is neutered, but only recently. Buddy will be a great 'only' dog, but would probably also do well with a female of similar energy to play with. Buddy is completely house trained and crate trained. He likes having his private time in his crate. And he loves to run in the yard! He doesn't chew on things he should not. And he barks only when there is a reason. He'll make someone a great companion and watch dog. He has not been around kids since he's been in our care, so I can't say for sure that he's good with kids. But I have no reason to believe he wouldn't be, except that he is active and might knock over very young kids, trying to play. Buddy came to us wandering loose in the cold and rain. He was very distrustful and it took forever to coax him into the fence with the other pups. So we assume he was mistreated at some point in his young life. He might take a minute to trust because of that, but he is a sweetheart who craves cuddles and affection. You can tell he appreciates the care he gets from us. Look at that SWEET FACE! Buddy is a love! But we have to find a home for him or he will have to go to ANIMAL CONTROL. we REALLY DON'T want to do that! They are overcrowded and are euthanizing. PLEASE HELP US KEEP BUDDY FROM GOING TO ANIMAL CONTROL!
