About Bojangles

'Transformed by the love a caring foster parent, Mr. Bojangles is ready for his furever home! Incredibly emaciated, sick, and in desperate need of love and attention, Mr. Bojangles was surrendered to ACS in early October. Shortly after, he found his way into the loving care of Animal Care Officer, who decided to foster him and help him get back on his 4 paws. Within two months, Mr. Bojangles went from an unwell 39 pounds to a happy, healthy 62 pounds. Even when he was at his sickest, Mr. Bojangles would get up every day with the biggest smile and wagging tail, always greeting the world with joy, recalls his foster. Mr. Bojangles knows he's meant to be an inside dog, as he loves lounging around and relaxing with his favorite people. He loves everyone-including children and other dogs-and even does well with cats! He's such a good boy that he's already mastered a few tricks, including sitting, shaking, and lying down.
