An open adoption is new to some but it just means he can be treated as his own being with his own life and relationships and helps to aid the transition and decrease anxiety while moving to a new home. New owners must provide proof of pet insurance prior to adoption and sign adoption contract specifying they can afford immediate emergency costs should they arise of up to $3,000. This is to ensure Baboo goes to a home that can financially support him should he become injured at some point in the future. He's a healthy dog and his new owners need to ensure his continued health and happiness.
