About Malibu

**MERRY MALIBU** Age approx 7-8mos Tucson AZ. Meet Merry and Bright Malibu! Being a small foster based rescue, we cannot always bring under our roofs, a dog in need....but when a good Samaritan who finds and is willing to foster a found animal....we can help with marketing, healthcare resources, screening and finding a new fur-ever for that animal in need! This is one of those cases....Malibu was found by a community member in June off a reservation in Tucson. Malibu was about 6-8 weeks old and was all alone. She has been to the vet and is deemed healthy. She is not yet spayed, or microchipped (that is a work in progress). Malibu is believed to be about 7-8mos old now and breed guesses are Lab/Pit mix. Malibu is big and small dog friendly, is very sweet and loving, has lots of energy (she is a puppy), food motivated, does great on a leash, is working hard on her potty training, loves her toys and her favorite game is tug-of-war! As with most dogs who have had to fend for themselves and find food and water....she eats very fast and cannot be free fed. She will just need some time and patience to allow her to feel safe and that there will always be food for her at a designated time during the day. Malibu is a gorgeous girl who would make a great hiking/traveling buddy. She will need a family that will give her time to settle, who will set up the proper structure and training guidance for her....but most of all just love her and make her feel safe.
