About Dixie

Pretty kitty Dixie is patiently awaiting her forever home. (She is ready though) Currently located in a foster home in North Palm Beach. This girl is very unique. She's got such vim and verve! Dixie is inquisitive and exploratory - something interesting going on? She 's there. Something new and inviting? She's there. There's just something about Dixie. There is. Super playful with other playful kitties and super playful when you want to toss a mouse or dangle da bird, Dixie is there! She's amuse herself as well - catnip toys, boxes, other fun and interesting toys - she can be enthralled. No worries, Dixie loves to be pet and to cuddle. She'll sleep with you curled up by your tummy or behind your bent legs - some favorite cat positions. Sometimes Dixie likes to hang out near your head and nuzzle your hair! She'll talk to you and if you talk back, she'll follow you around or jump up by you. lol This baby is full of surprises and amusement! Sometimes, I wonder what she'll do next! Dixie is a smart girl, an energetic girl and a girl so deserving of her very own forever home. Slim and petite, Dixie is easy to handle and pick up. Overall, I'd say she's a pretty easy keeper. Spayed, microchipped, had and is current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, had deworming protocol and is on a monthly flea preventative. Dixie tested negative for the feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus. Her adopter will get all of her vet records. Approximate DOB is 10/16/2022. Adoption fee for this baby is $100 which helps to 'pay it forward' for the next cat or kitten in need. And there always is one. Dixie was rescued when she was apparently dumped in a cat colony. She was deemed a friendly young cat and so needing a home rather than stay in the dangerous industrial area she was found in.
