Howdy I'm dwayne! I prioritize snuggling! Affection and quality time are my love languages. I am always excited to have visitors around especially little kids cause they like me and give me attention! I am the kind of dog who likes to hang out with you. It doesn't matter what we do- video games, tv or going outside- as long as you are there I'm in! Do you mind if I sit in your lap? It is my favorite spot. Currently I live with a couple other four legged friends and we get a long pretty great (though one of the cats has to remind me not to get in her face. She isn't a fan of my breath I think). You should know that being alone can make me anxious and for some reason being left alone outside is worse. But I do pretty good alone in the house while you are gone because I enjoy napping. If you teach me your routine and practice the rules with me I will probably do even better with you than my current owners as they struggle with routines and rules. Im a good dog but am a tripping hazard when I'm excited and my main human is moving out and everyone else works too much to make time for snuggling. I need a place to go because the shelter will give me lots of anxiety without an emotional support human to cuddle with. Please consider my application to be your dog. I come with limitless affection and tolerance for being held like a baby.
