Brutis is a people dog. He loves people, kids and adults. He is just not careful enough around small children. He's a sweetie with an affectionate and cuddly personality. He knows several commands and is a smart dog. He has trouble with outdoor cats (even though he loves our indoor cats), so this is not recommended for his the household. He loves my family's dogs, and the dogs that come into our home, but doesn't like other animals at the vet. He gets territorial. He listens better to men, and has a strong personality, but is the sweetest, most sensitive dog who loves just being around his people. Brutis needs a home where he can run in the backyard and get all of his energy out. Then he will plop right next to you while you watch TV or take a nap. He's a big lap dog. He will make a wonderful pet to a home with adults only, or a home with children who are used to big playful pups. I believe he would do great in a home with another large dog, as he is very social. Brutis' first reaction to other animals is excitement and acceptance. If they are large and are not daunted by Brutis' fast approach, then they will become fast friends. He only ever gets anxious when the other dog becomes fearful and behaves aggresively towards him first. But every dog that wanted to immediately play and be friends, he loved them. We aren't sure if he's a purebred pit or mix.
