About Kakariki

My boy Turnip has been severely depressed after having lost his girlfriend this year. He needs to go to a home that has a partner for him and an aviary like he is used to. I got him 05/2021 and he was hatched mid February 2021. I purchased him handfed and tame from a breeder in Los Angeles. I believe he is split for pied and cinnamon. With work, I think he could be made tame again. He does step up from time to time but only with a perch, not a hand or finger as of right now. He's currently banded. He's used to an aviary and fresh chop daily. His current diet: Roudybush mini pellets, Tropican cockatiel pellets, Higgins Mayan Yucatan, Higgins egg food, BirDelicious! Origins Wild Diet all size seed mixes. He is as of recently not toy motivated. I think that'll change once he has a mate. He's from a disease-free aviary, all my birds are tested negative for all major diseases, and the breeder he came from was also disease-free. He will come with a travel cage. Rehoming fee is $100.
