About Leah

Leah and her brother Paul are a bit of a mystery to us. They are the most unique and interesting looking dogs that I have seen come into the shelter. We are making a guess at the breeds these 2 are - Berger Picard and Cairn Terrier. We may be way off, but we instantly thought of the movie Winn-Dixie where the dog in that movie looks like these 2! Our dogs are a little lighter in color, so we know there are likely a couple other breeds in there. Leah is shy but will warm up to you especially if bribed by treats! She is more outgoing and adventurous than her brother. She is cuddly when in the right mood, otherwise is content to just sit nearby. Leah is about 20 pounds and is up to date on vaccinations, has been spayed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
