I was given Millie a year and a half ago. She was 18 mos old. She came from a Texas mini Aussie breeder who did not socialize the litter. She was 100% an outside dog. I got her scared, non-social and with high anxiety. She did bond with me however. I worked with her extensively, sent her for training for a month a year ago. Millie is highly intelligent, loves other dogs, leash trained. She's funny and loves toys. Very good on-leash. Ok in the car. Loves walks. She is house trained. I have all vet records and her papers. Millie has nipped my mom- herding- several times. She recently bit the groomer. The vet examined her the same day and found she has shoulder pain. The vet thinks the bite stemmed from pain. Millie is a very anxious dog. New environments are hard for her but she eventually adapts. She would do well in an active home with other dogs or would be an excellent ranch dog. I am re-homing her because of the nipping. My 78yr old mother lives with me and is handicapped. I don't want to protect both my mom and Millie by giving Millie a better environment to thrive.
