About Joey

Foster or adopter needed in Orange County for Joey! This cutie is with one of our overcrowded shelter partners but, as a foster-based rescue, we can only get him out if he has a foster or adoptive home to go to once we arrange his transport! Joe is a 2 year old Brussels Griffon/Shih Tzu mix. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on flea/tick heartworm meds. If you're searching for a sweet, well-mannered companion, look no further! Joey is a social butterfly who loves everyone he meets. Whether it's humans or fellow furry friends, he gets along with them all! His easygoing nature means he's just as content lounging on the couch, soaking up gut-wrenching movies with you as he is exploring the great outdoors. Who says you can't have fun and chill at the same time? With his playful yet laid-back demeanor, he's basically the ultimate companion! He thrives on love and kindness, and he promises to fill your days with joy and laughter. His scruffy coat and slight underbite only adds to his charm. Joey will need help with potty, obedience, and crate training. But for the family willing to work with him, he's going to be an awesome companion.
