Winston is a healthy, handsome, sensitive, adult male Jack Russell Terrier. He weighs 18 pounds, has a pure white body with a brown head. He celebrates his 10th birthday on 1/26/25. He has lived 8+ years with his cousin Peanut who is 10 months younger. Winston is the alpha and he tends to provoke Peanut into bad behavior, which has led to the heartbreaking choice to find a new home for this good boy. Here's a little more about Winston: 'ۢ Personality - alert, smart, loving, active, 'ۢ Good behaviors - clean, housebroken, understands instructions, barks to alert owner, likes to snuggle and sit on the couch and get belly rubs 'ۢ Bad behaviors - can be anxious, nips new people if not introduced carefully, has bitten people and other dogs in the past, aggressive play with other dogs to include biting cardboard boxes, attack the vacuum cleaner, etc. 'ۢ The ideal home - to live as an 'only dog' with no other dogs or cats, where there are not a lot of new people coming and going, with a fenced in yard and opportunities to go for short walks to smell plants and trees. Ability to meet new people in supervised setting (with a treat helps). 'ۢ A fun fact about the pet - Winston is a spirited and very loving boy during the day, but when 8:00 pm rolls around, he will get up and head into my bedroom where his cozy dog bed is located and puts himself to bed. 'ۢ Any other information - Winston is currently taking a small dose of gabapentin + trazadone every morning for anxiety. This prevents him from provoking Peanut.
