About Pepper

Pepper came to us as a stray and we homed her while we tried to find her owner. Unfortunately it appeared she had been dumped. She was heartworm positive, but has since been treated and is heartworm negative. We also spayed her. She is about 3 years old and very high energy, which is too much for our two elderly dogs. We ha e young children and she's great with them, but her food drive is incredibly high and will grab food from kids' hands. She needs training, rigorous exercise, and mental stimulation. She wants to be a good dog and please, but her impulse control needs work. I think she would be very trainable. She knows basic commands right now.
