About Nubby

This is our boy, Nubby. He is approximately 11 years old and currently roomates with his (non-biological) sister, Nala. We are hoping to rehome them together as they've been inseperable since he was 1 y/o and Nala was 2 y/o. More about Nubby - he is a dog who loves to observe his surroundings intently. He is a protector, much like his sister, therefore he will let you know if someone/something unknown is at the door. A particular guy, Nubby likes his space, eats slightly more than Nala, and also prefers warmer climate. Unlike Nala, who you'll find curled under a blanket, Nubby is more alert and can often be found being a watch-dog over his sister. Sometimes he refuses to go outside on his own if the weather is cold and wet. He is accustomed to his daily walk, but deserves more than one a day, which we cannot give him. Nubby is incredibly submissive to his sister, he will allow her to eat his food if she pleases and take up all the space on their bed, often letting her be a blanket hog. He is not aggressive, however both him and his sister were rescued from an abusive environment so he is weary of new or unpredictable people (toddlers). His vet records can be found and he is probably due for a checkup. No health complications of concern thus far. Both dogs are in their senior years, so wet food is what they are used to at this point. He is truly a dog who deserves so much love, although he is more of an introvert compared to his sister, so give him more time to warm up to you.
