About Nala

This is our girl Nala, she is approximately 12 years old and needs a good retirement home. She is currently roommates with her (non-biological) brother named Nubby (also a Miniature Pinscher.) They have been inseperable for 10 years and hope to rehome them together. More about Nala - she is spunky, assertive, protective, but also sensitive and loves her cuddles. Unfortunately, we are unable to give her the attention she truly deserves in her 'retirement' years. We rescued her from an abusive home when she was only 1 years old. While we have been able to provide her with a better life than she was born into, she still has anxiety with new people. She is protective of the home, so she will let you know when something/someone unknown is at the door. She had a full hysterectomy on March 3, 2023, and that would be when her vaccinations were last received. Nala is used to getting daily walks, rain or shine, however she prefers to be in warm climate as much as possible. She loves her sleep, often curling herself up under her soft blankets for naps. She's engaged with children frequently, but the unpredictability of little ones makes her quite nervous, therefore we wouldn't necessarily say shes 'good' with kids. Because she is of older age, she should be homed with someone able to give her more than 1 walk a day.
