We adopted our goldendoodle from a family who bought her from a breeder. They kept her in the backyard and ignored her, and/or seemed to treat her differently than her sibling dog they had. We have tried to give her a good home for two years, but she is highly anxious and needs an owner household that is home frequently and will give her a lot of attention. She is allergic to many foods and needs to stay on the kibble we've had her on to prevent diarrhea spells. When left home alone, she takes things off the counter or out of the sink, licking dishware or eating food that causes further GI distress. She also gets diarrhea spells cyclically regardless of the controlled diet; when this happens she does temd to have accodents in the house. She also gets ear infections regularly and requires ear cleaning every 1-2 weeks (can be completed at home). does well at doggy daycare with other large breeds Absolutely needs a fence. She is afraid of electric fences (we tried and she hasn't used our yard since) Requires a lot of movement amd exercise a day to manage her energy level. (currently gets 5 walks/day'|the only time she goes to bathroom bc she is afraid of our yard) Highly anxious and on Prozac Doesn't like crates or being kept away from owmers. With all that said she is super sweet and loves to be touched and cuddled, as long as she can be near her primary owner. She loves to play with people, run and chase balls in the yard, and play with other dogs.
