We are looking to urgently rehome our Aussie/collie mix due to our new baby's unexpected allergies to dogs!!! We got Millie when she was a little over a year old (probably). The owner we got her from was an older couple that could not handle both dogs. When we took her in we knew that she does not like other dogs. From the start, we could see that she has a big personality. She loves her people, very protective, and silly. She will play in the yard all day long, loves to go on walks/runs, and loves to hike. She is now 8 years old (probably) and still has a lot of energy. We are looking to rehome Millie because we discovered our daughter to be allergic to dogs and the allergies are getting worse. We are looking for a home with no other dogs due to her reactivity. She is very skittish around other dogs and will bark/growl at them. We have tried to work with her, but she remains fearful of other dogs. Additionally, the ideal home would be with no young children as she has never been around young children. I do not know how she will react. She will also require a lot of exercise as she is a working dog breed. She is leash trained (even though she is very excitable and tries to pull when excited), house trained, and crate trained. She is up to date on her shots. I will be sending all of my dog supplies (including food) with her if desired/needed.
