About HOCUS

Meet Hocus, a playful bundle of energy with a heart of gold! This little guy is always on the move, chasing toys and pouncing on anything that moves, he loves to hop around after toys. When it's time to rest, though, he becomes a cuddle machine, curling up by your side and purring contentedly as he drifts off to sleep. He loves to play, and wrestle with kicker toys, or chase a crinkle ball. He is confident and happy to explore new environments. While he's full of energy and curiosity, Hocus can sometimes get a little mouthy during playtime, so he's looking for an adopter who understands his need for gentle guidance. Hocus did not have the easiest past, and due to a severe upper raspatory infection he had as a young kitten he has nasal damage to his left nostril. Due to this it is not fully functioning, and he sometimes breathes out of his mouth when he needs to or snorts and sounds like he has a stuffy nose. This URI also caused some scarring on his right eye, he does likely have mostly normal vision in this eye but it is likely a little worse than a typical kitten. He is a fighter, and has always given his all to life. If you give this little wonder a chance, he will brighten your world for the rest of his days. Due to his nose and eye, we do recommend Hocus receive regular vet visits like any other kitten, but especially to keep an eye on any health changes. He is otherwise a happy and healthy kitten. He did great in foster care with other cats and is very confident around cat friendly dogs. Hocus may do best in a home without young children and would be very happy and do well in a home with a cat or kitten playmate
