About Paxton

Paxton is a 2 year old, 15 pound mini-Schnauzer. We think Paxton was dumped because he is an Alpha dog who is dog selective. I put that he needs to be the only dog in the home because he does not get along with most male dogs but loves the females. It is strange because I watch him play so well with some male dogs and other males dogs he just cannot tolerate. He is just fine with all of the females. He is not aggressive in any way. He did bark relentlessly at me when I first met him but that quickly changed later that day and now he is my friend. He allows me to put pills in his mouth and handle him in any way. He is just fearful when meeting new people. If you choose Paxton please be prepared to let him decompress in your home so his fears will go away. He is crate trained but does not like to be in there.
