About Jack

This dog was dropped off down our road in early October '24. At that time no one could touch him because he was so scared and appeared to have been kept in a cage with no human contact or love. Over the next 2+ months he was tamed and started staying in the house with our other dogs and cats. He is able to petted along his back by my husband but still avoids me and never can be petted on the head. He was not fixed or vaccinated due to not wanting to make him fearful of us too soon. His ears were treated for a bacterial infection with a long acting medicine in the ears. The reason that he needs another home is because he is getting dominant and has fought with my other dogs. He loves our female lab. He won't chase cats unless they really run from him. He's scared of mine. We already have three dogs in the house. We only kept him to hopefully make him good for another home. He's greatly improved but he needs to go before he hurts my dogs. He will take a lot of patience to bond with someone new. But he is a very kind dog.
