About Luna

Luna is a pure white Great Pyrenees female, about 3 years old and 75 pounds. Very healthy and active. She has had one litter of pups and is not fixed---a good mother. We got her about 6 months ago to control critters like raccoons on our farm, but she hasn't worked out in that regard due to her fear of larger animals (cows, horses). Good with kids and adults, never aggressive to people, but something in her past makes her both eager to meet other dogs, but at the same time fearful, cautious and wary, so she must be introduced slowly to other dogs and on a leash, until she realizes they are not a threat. She prefers to be outdoors, including at night as long as sheltered.
