About Duke

This handsome fellow is named Duke. He's 3YO, and this isn't his first time at FBCAS. He originally came into the shelter in June of 2023. He was only here for about two weeks when he was happily adopted! Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. Duke was surrendered back to our shelter in August of 2024. Duke gives off the first impression that he's cool and aloof, and happy to be independent. He enjoys any time spent outside of his kennel, and has a medium energy level. Then you bring out the squeaky toys, and you have his full attention! They really bring out his inner playful puppy. He loves the noise they make and will always chase after them when you throw them. He'll play with them all by himself sometimes too! He's much less serious and a lot more silly when there's squeaky toys around! Duke already knows how to sit on command, and will happily do so for a toy or a treat.
