About Gypsy

Meet Gypsy Meet Gypsy, A.K.A. Gypseek Gypsy is a 1.5 year old, female, border collie mix, currently being fostered in Southeastern Oregon. This beautiful young dog is confident and well-balanced. She is initially cautious of strangers but warms up quickly when introduced. Gypsy is fairly high energy and athletic, but also will chill in the house by her people, so her ideal adopters are active and have an outdoorsy lifestyle. Gypsy is smart and eager to please, so she will do well with continued training, She is crate trained, settles nicely in her crate, and sleeps through the night. Her house training is going well, as is her leash training. Gypsy is very good on off-leash runs in the country, is exuberant at first when leashed but quickly settles down for her walk. This friendly girl is good with other dogs, cats, and people. Please note that so far, we have not seen Gypsy interact with toddlers or young children. In terms of other animals, Gypsy would love to run and play with the horses but will call off nicely. She is a good watch dog and will bark when people arrive at the house, but will quiet down when told it is okay. Gypsy is the complete package. Smart, fun, friendly, active, biddable, and she is also spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines.
