About Rita

My name is Rita! I am about 4.5 months old and 23 lbs. We think I am a cross between Catahoula and Terrier. My dad (who is also local in the northeast) is a beautiful guy and definitely has a Catahoula look! I am a hysterical young girl and I love everything and everyone. I also get excited about basically everything in life. I must tell you my favorite human in the world is my 13 year old human boy. When he walks in the room, my world stops! Yes, I am crate trained and housebroken. I am incredibly food motivated'|I will do anything for food and I love to watch my foster mom cook. I am highly trainable and very smart. I am also eager to please. I do have a nice amount of puppy energy'| I could do great as an only because I also entertain myself with my toys and I am so focused on my people. But, I could also do well with another dog who will play and romp with me and not get annoyed . I am curious about cats. I could be just fine but the cat has to be sturdy and dog savvy because yes, I will push buttons. I need some work on the leash. I am curious about this rope I am supposed to walk on and will want to smell, pull, go through legs - pretty typical of a pup that hasn't had much experience.
