About Dexter

Dexter is at that perfect puppy age - he's young enough to still be a goofy, playful puppy�'�|but he's also starting to be mature enough to learn tricks! It's so great to see him learn and grow. He came into the shelter with three of his siblings on 10/31/24, and has been with us ever since. His siblings have all found love - Dexter is the last of his litter waiting. He still has lots of youthful awkwardness in him, but he's enjoying figuring everything out. He's super friendly and always happy when people are hanging out with him. He loves to play and has boundless energy for running around. Rolling in the grass is another favorite pastime of his - he hopes you take it like the suggestion it is to rub his belly! Dexter has been working on learning to sit on command! He's made great strides at sitting for a treat, but he won't hold it for very long.
