About Scruffy

Meet Scruffy, a charming 3-year-old Terrier mix who weighs just 14 pounds and is ready to find his forever home! Scruffy's journey started on a sad note, as he was on the euthanasia list at a small shelter in Southwest Kansas due to space limitations. Luckily, he was given a second chance and is now thriving in one of our loving foster homes. This little guy is incredibly sweet and gets along beautifully with other small dogs and even cats. Scruffy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a dog buddy by his side, he gains confidence and learns how to approach humans. He's a keen observer, taking his time to watch the other dogs interact with people before gathering the courage to join in. Scruffy will need a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely explore and have fun. His ideal family will be patient, gentle, and understanding as he adjusts to his new environment. He would also love a playful dog companion to help him come out of his shell and enjoy life to the fullest. Scruffy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, and microchipped, so he's all set for his new adventure.
