About Rufus

Rufus is a large mix breed about 8 years old, he is a great dane border collie mix. He weighs about 135lbs, and is pretty tall. His hair is medium long and he is often mistaken for a newfie. He is in good health (though possibly a tad overweight), he is up to date on vaccinations (most recent vaccines were August 2024), is on a flea and heartworm meds, and is spayed. He is a big goofy gentle giant. He is great with kids and guests, he is good with cats (he has lived with 3), and he is generally good with other dogs. He does have anxiety, and does not like loud noises - trucks, construction, fireworks, etc. He is all around a great and friendly dog, but unfortunately we do not have the time and resources to continue caring for him at this time.
