About Ginger Snap

Are you looking for the sweetest, easy going dog to add to your family? Look no further! Ginger Snap is the dog for you! She is a 1.5 year old Hound/Lab mix. She is the biggest snuggle bug and giver of kisses. She has been fostered in a home with numerous dogs of varying sizes/ages and done well. Her foster mom just raves about what a good easy going dog she is. She is house and crate trained and walks well on leash. Ginger Snap came into rescue after being shot by a BB gun causing a severe limp. Her owners couldn't afford surgery so opted to have her euthanized. The vet couldn't do that so sought rescue instead. Ginger was evaluated by a surgeon and it was determined that she did not need surgery but would unfortunately always have a limp. It doesn't seem to affect her ability to move and play but she may require pain meds in the future to keep her most comfortable. If you can give Ginger Snap a loving forever home, please apply!
