Rubi is a sweetheart with a lot of energy. She needs a home with plenty of outdoor space and preferably another dog or other animals (she also loves children). She can be a bit stubborn and likes to rule the roost. Ultimately, I think she's pretty trainable with someone who has the patience, and maybe an e-collar. She loves chasing, tug of war, and (occasionally) cuddle time. Her recall is pretty good, but she can be a little trickster. I've taught her commands like 'sit,' 'stay' and 'drop it,' all of which she obeys a good bit of time. She sometimes still has accidents inside, but I have noticed this happens significantly less when she is stimulated and has a lot of outdoor time/attention. She's my sweet baby girl, but I don't think apartment life with a single guy is for her. I know she'd do better somewhere with a lot of open space, other animals, and maybe even little jobs (I once watched her try to herd a bunch of sheep. It was a complete mess, but she seemed in the zone).
