About Puppy

Coming soon! Meet Puppy, a young 35-40 pound possible Australian Shepherd/Lab Mix! Puppy is getting neutered and a good dental cleaning at the end of this month and will be ready to find his family after that! We are accepting applications now!�%9D%A4��%8F Puppy was found in a ditch on the side of the road, covered in fleas and ticks, and had a puncture wound. You could tell he had never received any amount of love from a human before. He was scared when you touched him, scared to walk, and scared to go outside. Over time, he is getting better and learning that not all humans are bad. He gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. He is incredibly sweet even when he's scared. He is still afraid of going through doors and that you need to go through the door to go potty but is getting more confident every day! He loves other dogs but doesn't know how to play, so another dog would be beneficial for puppy to teach him the ropes of being a dog. Puppy will need a very patient adopter and family, knowing that it will take time for him to feel safe and to learn how to be a dog. He is afraid of leashes and cars but given he had missing hair on his neck and was dumped, it's understandable. Whenever he gets nervous he does chew on things so offering outlets like chew toys and continuing to crate when gone would be best for him! We hope puppy can become confident and know he will be loved and cared for forever!�%9D%A4��%8F�'�%8D�٩� He loves giving kisses, getting belly rubs, taking naps, and howling when excited! Puppy is crate trained and working on his leash training.
