About Puppy

ADOPT PUPPY Meet Puppy, a young (under a year old) 40-pound Aussie/Golden Mix! He is the sweetest and calmest pup you will ever meet and can't wait to find his forever home. Puppy was found in a ditch by the side of the road, covered in fleas and ticks. He also had a puncture wound on his neck and hair loss in that area. Puppy is still learning that not all humans are bad. He will require an extremely patient adopter who is willing to wait until he learns to trust them. He tends to warm up to women faster than men. He is crate-trained and potty-trained, but you will need to carry him to the crate. He also will only allow his foster mom to let him outside, not his foster dad. Puppy is very quiet but will howl when he gets excited! He is incredibly sweet, even when he feels scared. Due to his past, he does not do well on a leash, so he needs an adopter who is willing to work with him. He gets along well with cats and would love to be their friend. He is also good with babies. Puppy loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident and playful dog sibling! He enjoys going outside and playing. Puppy does chew on things, so he will need appropriate outlets like chew toys and treats, and he should be crated when left alone. He is afraid of door frames, bathrooms, sudden movements, and is afraid to drink water if someone is watching or near him, so his food is soaked in water to make sure he gets his hydration. *Adopters must have all pets fixed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm prevention* He is afraid of a lot of things but he is one of the sweetest dogs ever!
