We wanted a very small dog that would match the physical limitations of my wife. My wife had massive spinal surgery, and her doctor stated that she can lift a dog no more than 5 lbs. or risk additional damage to her spine. I also suffer from various physical issues. Thor was advertised as a Multipoo. He was approximately 2 lbs. and 9 %BD weeks old when we got him. He kept growing well beyond the size and characteristics of a Multipoo. We completed DNA testing and confirmed that the dominant breed is 80% miniature poodle with all the characteristics of a poodle: very cute, smart, highly energetic, stubborn, playful, may nip or bite when frustrated, etc. He is currently 1 year and 7 months. He is 21 lbs. but we expect him to gain a little more weight and size as he matures. Unfortunately, due to our physical limitations we cannot provide him with the active surroundings he needs. We are looking to rehome Thor to a loving active family that provides him with the stimulation and active life he needs. We have created a notebook containing all the information needed to care for Thor. It includes feeding, medications, potty habits, etc. He is loving when he wants to be and demanding when he's not entertained or kept busy. He will do very well with training and a structured environment.
